About Me

  • I wrote a book called "Audrey, Wait!" After a series of small potholder fires, I'm starting to cook again. You've been warned. Music is my boyfriend. I'm having an affair with coffee, though. My new book "The Extraordinary Secrets of April, May & June" is in stores now. Hi! I'm so glad you're here!

My favorite sighting? Thing One and Thing Two. And then a woman who looked at them hard and said, "Are you together?" Robin, I'm sorry I missed you there! You should have stopped by the Pantheon booth.

Lucy

Sorry I missed you at Comic-Con! I love your pic with the royal waffle and Stephanie Perkins. I saw her there a few times at panels. Hope to run into you next year at one of the bookish events. Glad that being at SDCC was refreshing for you.
The Spider-Man panel sounds like fun. Thanks for the recap.
Have fun with the surf lessons!

Ronni

Robin, you don't post a lot but your entries are always a treat to read! So glad you had so much fun at Comic-Con! :)

Tameka

This post just got better and better as I read it. The Mad Hatter and Alice sitting at the bar was a particular high point. You will definitely always have a fan in me!

One understands that life is expensive, nevertheless some people need cash for different stuff and not every man gets big sums money. Thus to get some mortgage loans or college loan should be a correct solution.

Hi Robin! It's been a really long time since we chatted and I was just thinking about you today for some mysterious reason and I popped by here to catch up on your news. I was both so happy (for your fab publishing news!) and really sad (to hear about the loss of your family) and just wanted to send you a hug. John and I just moved back to CA to San Francisco and our little guy is almost four. Hope the sun is shining on you today! XOXO

Hey Robin. It's nice to hear you're doing OK.
First of all, I live in the San Diego area, so I would have loved going to comic com, but my mom laughed at the idea. So I took that as a "no, you're not going."
I think it's so sad that Borders is gone. If you know you're way around the San Diego area, you've seen a Borders around Westfield Mission Valle Mall. I thought it was just my luck when I saw the signs on the window saying, "STORE CLOSING DOWN!! EVERYTHING NEEDS TO GO!! CLEARANCE!!!". I aked my mom to take me there and ended up getting two books ("Okay for Now" by Gary D. Schmidt and "Andromeda Klein" by Frank Portman). But when I found out that ALL Borders are closing for good, I don't know, I got a terrible feeling in my stomach. It made me feel sad.
It's not only the book business that is decreasing, but everything's like that. I heard that over the last 2 (or 3?) year USPS has lost 11.8 billion dollars because people just don't use the post office as much as before.
I'd love to go on, but I have to cut it short. My mom is calling me and if she hollers any louder, my head will bust open.
Best Wishes

home loans

Have no cash to buy a house? Worry no more, just because that's achievable to get the loans to solve such problems. Thence get a student loan to buy everything you require.
